Aftercare
Here are our guidelines for tattoo aftercare.
However, each artist may have their own recommendations for healing, so we strongly encourage you to follow the specific instructions provided by your chosen artist for the best results.
- CLINGFILM / DRY LOC PAD
- SECOND SKIN
Keep the coverage on for at least a few hours or until you return home.
Keep the sticker on for 24/48 hours.
When removing it, please gently peel it off from the corners, ideally under running water.
- TATTOO SPRAY
Keep the area dry for 24 hours.

Rinse the area with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap until it’s clean, gently massaging the skin. Avoid using a sponge; just rinse thoroughly with water. After cleaning, allow the area to air dry or lightly pat it dry with a paper towel.
Once completely dry, apply a thin layer of cream, such as cocoa butter, coconut oil, or a specialized tattoo aftercare cream. You can do this up to twice a day for the next two weeks.
During this healing period, you may notice scabbing and itchiness. Resist the urge to scratch; instead, ensure the area remains clean and moisturised.
After two weeks, you can switch to a regular lotion. By then, your tattoo should be healing well, but continue to keep it moisturized and protect it from sun exposure, swimming pools, hot tubs, and the sea for at least three weeks.
Additionally, it’s best to avoid intense workouts and excessive sweating for at least 2 to 3 days following your tattoo session.
